Scottish Equalities Bulletin Issue No.10

STUC Women’s Weekend School 30 Sept/1 Oct – Glasgow

Dear Colleague

The STUC Women’s Committee will be holding a Weekend School on Conference Skills on the above dates in the Novotel, Pitt Street, Glasgow. The School will be co-ordinated and delivered by Agnes Tolmie and members of the STUC Women’s Committee. The School will cover a mock congress, e.g. public speaking, constructing motions, preparing speeches, voting for a committee, etc.

The cost per participant is £135.00, which is inclusive of all meals and accommodation. There is also a non-residential rate of £90.00. Anyone wishing to attend this weekend school should contact norma.mcgovern@amicustheunion.org by Friday 16th June 2006. Please only put your name forward if you are sure you will attend so as not to incur the union in any cancellation fees. Further details will be sent out in due course to those showing an interest in attending.
Can I remind you that the purpose of these electronic e-mailings is to get as much information as possible about Amicus out to as many members as possible and I would be grateful, even if the bulletin(s) are of no direct interest to yourself, that you circulate the information to your fellow Amicus members.
I would welcome any feedback you may have on this, or any of the previous bulletins.

Thank you again for your co-operation.
