As many will have already heard the national pay dispute with UCU (formerly AUT) has been agreed and all industrial action ceased at midnight last night. The new pay offer (which is virtually the same deal as 30th May) will be put to UCU members with a recommendation to accept. It is exteremely likely that Amicus will make the same recommendation to its members, which will result in a local ballot here at Stirling. As soon as I have confirmation of this I will be contacting all Amicus work place reps at Stirling to arrange the ballot of members.
